How to play

The rules take a minute to learn. The tactics are yours to find.

  1. Place your dice

You have 12 dice each and take turns placing one at a time on any free square. They all start as ones.

Blue and red take turns placing a die.
  2. Push and count up

When a die lands right next to another – horizontally or vertically – it pushes that neighbour one square away. Every time a die moves one square, it counts up by one.

The red one is pushed and counts up to two. The next push makes it a three.
  3. Chains and the grave

Pushes roll on: a pushed die pushes its own neighbours, even around corners. A die pushed over the edge falls into the grave and is lost.

The chain turns the corner, and a blue die falls into the grave.
  4. Lock your sixes and win

A six is locked for the rest of the game. Once all 24 dice are down, you take turns moving one of your own dice one square. Three of your sixes in a row – horizontally or vertically – and you win.

The blue five moves into the gap, becomes a locked six, and blue has three in a row.
